Laura Coss
Founder
Attorney Laura Coss grew up in Cannon Falls, a small town in southern Minnesota. She moved to River Falls in 1997, where she still resides today. She went to college and law school at Notre Dame. While in school, she volunteered at several non-profit organizations focused on helping those in need including the South Bend Housing Authority and Indiana Legal Servies. She also spent a summer abroad in London learning how the English legal system has impacted d the American legal system.
Following law school, Attorney Coss clerked in Ramsey County, worked as a general practice attorney at a firm in Minneapolis, was sole general counsel for an equestrian boarding/training facility and volunteered as a criminal defense attorney before joining the Anoka County Attorney’s Office in 2012. This wide range of experience has allowed her to practice almost every area of the law at some point in her career, but criminal law remains to be her passion. Attorney Coss strongly believes every client deserves to have someone in their corner who will continue to fight for them especially when a legal matter becomes overwhelming.
In her free time, Laura is either watching college football, spending time with her dogs or competing at horse shows across the country.

Kelsey Rahman
Legal Assistant
Kelsey grew up in rural Platteville, Wisconsin, where she attended St. Mary’s Catholic School and then went on to graduate from Platteville High School in 2000. After a few years of attending UW-Eau Claire, she then moved to Minnesota where she was blessed with three amazing boys – Alex, Carson and Mason. Kelsey graduated from Mayo Clinic’s Medical Secretary Program in 2006 and went on to support world-renowned physicians in the medical industry. She made the difficult decision to leave the corporate world and open up an in-home daycare after seeing the need for childcare in her area and wanting to have a hands-on approach in raising her boys, all while offering a more structured learning environment for other families as well. Kelsey cared for over 60 children throughout her 15 years in the field. Once her boys were old enough to no longer need childcare, she returned to the working world. Kelsey and Attorney Coss met in the summer of 2024, and the rest, you could say…..is history.
Once Kelsey started supporting Attorney Coss and seeing her dedication to her clients and work ethic, she knew that LMC Law was exactly where she would be able to expand her knowledge, be challenged in the workplace, and have the ability to offer exceptional legal assistance. Kelsey is currently taking courses to obtain her AAERT certification to become a Certified Electronic Transcriptionist to broaden her skill set with LMC Law.
Kelsey currently resides in Osseo, WI, and in her free time can be found keeping up with her three boys’ activities, cheering on her MN Vikings, traveling, and enjoying the outdoors.
